This is effectively a 4 channel solid state relay, with inputs triggered by low-side switch outputs on an ECU.

Each channel is rated up to 8 amps continuous, with a maximum of 16 amps continuous total current over all 4 channels.

Suitable for PWM or continuous operation, can for example be used to drive solenoids that are internally grounded to the engine or transmission.
